PUMPER TRUCK—Purchased in 2007, this truck is designed primarily for fighting structure fires. Our truck carries 1000 gals. of water and includes a state of the art foam system used to extinguish structure fires using much less water. When it is possible to use the foam system less water damage occurs to the structure. There are a limited number of these trucks in the county.  

Tanker—Our 2005 tanker truck on a Kenworth chassis transports 2500 gallons of water to the scene of a fire.  This truck carries a 3000 gallon portable water tank that is deployed at the fire scene.  The tanker truck dumps its water cargo at the fire scene.  This water is then available for other firghfighting trucks to use while the tanker leaves to refill and return to where the water is needed.  This truck was purchased with a 90/10 grant from FEMA.
